Symptom

Numbers increase when a weight is on the pan, and if they change at all with no weight on the pan, they decrease.

Diagnosis

You are seeing Creep. Creep gives some of the same symptoms as Drift, but it is weight dependent. So you will see changes in the opposite direction when the weight is on as you do when the weight is off. (Drift shows up regardless of whether a weight is on the pan). The reasons for Creep can be dirt in the sensor or a generally malfunctioning unit.

Solution

You must return it to us for repair.
