Dave, Friend of Hal

Dave was Hal's amigo.  He was developed when we began work on the D-500 (larger) scale, as it was clear that this larger scales could not possibly work on Hal, with his fixed-size spaces.  Like Lisa, Dave was built on a standard Mitsubishi arm, and the two were a most unlikely couple.  There are even some Quick-time movies of Hal, Lisa, Dave, and Pez on Lisa's page.

JB had just bought a house which sported a Hoop.  Steve was fascinated by this unlikely combination of Dave, whom JB was training at the time, and the Hoop!

Poor Dave ... Poor JB.  That is Marian saving the day (whew!)
